Thor The Dark World Movie Story

In "Thor: The Dark World," our hero, Thor, returns to the realm of Asgard to face an ancient threat greater than any he has ever known. Following the events in New York, Thor works to restore peace to the Nine Realms, but he is unaware that a primeval darkness is reawakening. The main antagonist, Malekith, the leader of the Dark Elves, rises from his long slumber, determined to use the Aether, an ancient and powerful artifact, to destroy the universe and return it to eternal darkness. Thor must confront this force, which becomes intertwined with his true love, Jane Foster, as she is accidentally exposed to the Aether, making her Malekith's primary target.
