The movie focuses on Paul (played by Nicolas Cage) and his two teenage sons, Thomas and Joseph, who live in isolation on a remote farmhouse. All You Need Is Death (2024)

All You Need Is Death Movie Story
centers on Anna and Aleks, a young couple and avid collectors of rare and obscure folk songs across rural Ireland. They search for near-extinct ballads to record and sell to mysterious buyers at high prices. In their quest for this forbidden knowledge, they hear rumors of an extremely ancient song—a ballad said to be a thousand years old, passed down orally only from mother to daughter and never written. This song is believed to contain a form of living modern alchemy or ancient magic.
Their search eventually leads them to Rita Concannon, a mysterious elderly woman who is reluctant to share the song. Through manipulation and slight deceit, Anna and Aleks manage to convince Rita to sing the ballad for them to record. The song tells a story of love turning into a curse—a narrative in Old Irish that predates the modern language. However, the act of recording and documenting this sacred, taboo song is a profound transgression. Soon after the song is shared, a series of bizarre and terrifying events begin to plague the couple, starting with Rita's sudden death and eerie discoveries surrounding it. As the couple descends into madness and supernatural horror, the ancient song they stole unleashes a hidden, primordial evil force, which manifests itself in the form of grotesque entities and mind-altering experiences. Anna and Aleks must fight for their survival against the otherworldly entities they have awakened, while confronting the moral and physical consequences of their attempt to commodify a cultural heritage that was meant to remain concealed. The film is a surreal, dark, and unsettling folk horror exploration of the dangers inherent in exploiting ancient traditions.

Traumatika (2024)

Traumatika Movie Story
is a 2024 American horror film presenting a harrowing story across multiple timelines, centered on childhood trauma that manifests into a demonic entity. The initial part of the film is set in Pasadena, California, in 2003, where a young boy named Mikey fights for his life after discovering that his mother, Abigail, begins showing signs of demonic possession. Mikey is trapped inside the house with his mother, who has become a monster covered in blood and terror. It is revealed that Mikey's night terrors have become a brutal reality, and this traumatic experience will haunt him for the rest of his life. This supernatural tension is linked to an ancient artifact traced back to Egypt in 1910, a statuette of a pagan entity. This cursed artifact falls into the hands of Abigail's father, John, who is going through a bitter divorce and desperate for custody of his children. John carelessly frees the demon from the artifact, which then possesses him and initiates a horrific cycle of abuse and torment against his family. The central part of the film reveals how Abigail, initially a victim, becomes a vessel for the demon in an attempt to protect her younger sister, Alice, from the same fate. The narrative then jumps to the present day, where the consequences of the 2003 murders continue to linger. Alice, Abigail's sister, has grown up to become an author and activist who attempts to understand and advocate for victims of childhood trauma. Through its non-linear storytelling and a blend of horror subgenres—ranging from possession horror to slasher elements—the film brutally explores how a single act of abuse can ruin many lives and pass down pain across generations, establishing trauma itself as an enduring source of evil.
