Civil War Movie Story
depicts a dystopian near-future United States, where the nation is fractured by a brutal Second Civil War. The movie eschews explicit political details and focuses instead on the harrowing experiences of a group of war journalists undertaking a dangerous road trip across the shattered country. The core team consists of Lee Smith, a jaded and renowned veteran war photographer; Joel, her enthusiastic journalist colleague; and Jessie Cullen, a young aspiring photographer who idolizes Lee and is determined to document the atrocities around her.
