Prey Movie Story
follows a young missionary couple, Andrew and Sue, who are forced to flee their post in the Kalahari Desert after receiving death threats from an extremist militant gang. In a desperate bid for safety, they board a rickety small plane, piloted by an unscrupulous smuggler, along with a few other passengers. Unfortunately, their escape turns disastrous when the aircraft loses power and crash-lands in the middle of a savage, unforgiving animal reserve, far from civilization or aid.
Following the horrific crash, the survivors find themselves stranded and injured in a harsh and deadly environment. Beyond the threats of extreme heat and dehydration, they quickly realize they have landed in the hunting territory of the wild’s deadliest predators, including roaming lions, leopards, and hyenas. The situation is further complicated by the fact that Sue is severely injured and the militant group they were fleeing is likely still tracking their location.
Trapped between the threats of nature and man, the remaining group must overcome their differences and suspicions to cooperate for survival. They must use their wits and instincts to navigate the dangerous desert, battling fierce man-eaters while also confronting the peril of their human pursuers. The film explores the limits of human endurance, where the line between predator and prey is blurred, and everyone must fight fiercely to ensure they are not the next victim.
