is an action-thriller centered on Adam (played by Luke Evans), an ex-convict who is newly released after serving a 16-year sentence for murder. Upon his release, Adam is determined to return to his old neighborhood in Red Hook, Brooklyn, with a strong resolve to atone for his past mistakes and start a new life. He strives to find work, shed his old habits, and most importantly, attempt to rebuild a relationship with his now grown-up son who has no knowledge of him.However, Adam's quest for forgiveness and a quiet life is quickly jeopardized. His return rekindles old hatreds, especially from Mike (played by Alex Pettyfer), the brother of the man Adam killed years ago. Mike, who is now entangled in a life of crime working under his local drug dealer uncle, harbors a burning desire for revenge. These two opposing destinies—one seeking redemption, the other seeking retribution—are set to collide on the very same streets.
When Adam unexpectedly begins to shield his son, Jimmy (played by Rudy Pankow), who unknowingly finds himself in trouble with Mike's uncle, the tension escalates into an inevitable burst of violence.
